Fareed Bader the chairman and managing director of Bader Group of Companies , graduated from Swansea-UK University as a Civil Engineer and got a master degree in Business management from London University Year 1982.

On march 1983, a small company called Bader Trading co. working as a waterproofing and insulation contractor, was established , the need for effective heat insulation for building to save electric energy was identified. In a very short period , Baders system was approved and specified by ministry of housing for all its housing projects. and Bader company became well known for its quality and reliability .

On march 1993, major event happened , Mr Bader decided to manufacture the waterproofing products which was imported from Europe to be self sufficient, hence a new company called Gulf membrane and coating industries GMCI was established , manufacturing all kinds of damproofing materials and construction chemicals .

With a hard work and commitment to success, GMCI not only manufactured quality products to local market but also exported its products to most part of the world.

Then in year 2004 the property market started to pick up in Bahrain, Mr Bader initiated a new venture to explore and develope property market, hence a company under the name of Sphinx management and property development , And Vafa IEI , was established. Since then more than 30 projects , valued USD 30 million dollar. had been executed and completed. More projects are underway in the years to come.

After 9/11 the world became unsecured and need for security became essential, hence on the year 2006, Mr. Bader established a security company called GROUP7 security and safety, catering the security market ...
On the same year , as the Bahrain authorities decided to liberate the telecom market and several license were issued, Bader Group established new company under STAR GATE COMMUNICATION ..and an strategic partner has come on board to develop the niche market and the operation will start on march 2009.."

Today Bader Group , employs 200 people with a turn over of USD 20 million per annum .

Bader group expanded its activities thanks to its skilled and dynamic management team and the philosophy of its chairman.
